A huge congratulations to the Springfield 'C' team who won the Portsmouth Literature Quiz on Thursday 30th January 2020.  Springfield entered three teams in the competition and they all finished in the top 10 even beating the student teachers team (University of Portsmouth).   Springfield 'C' only dropped one point in all of the four main rounds - what an achievement!  Full results will be available shortly.  Each year pupils from schools across the city meet to show their knowledge of books and their enthusiasm for reading, hoping to win the coveted trophy for their school.   The quiz rounds included book general knowledge and visual clues.  The teams prepared for some sections of the quiz in advance, such reading the books by the guest authors and checking out their websites.  The guest authors took part in the quiz and also signed books for the pupils.  The winners were awarded book tokens and of course the coveted trophy!
