Mrs Wines (Teacher of Design and Technology) held the first of the Year 9 yule log competitions today.  Pupils produced and decorated yule logs during their Food and Nutrition class this morning.  Mr Wharton (Deputy Headteacher) and Miss Kelly (Assistant Headteacher) had the difficult task of choosing a winner.  All the entries were creative and well executed so it was a difficult decision.  Congratulations to the winner of the first competition - Rebecca Ryder (9L).  The next competition takes place on Thursday 19th December.
