We were delighted to welcome the BAE Education Programme Roadshow to Springfield this morning. The audience of Year 7 and 8 pupils were mesmerised by the technology that was demonstrated. Supported by The Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, the roadshow is designed to enlighten pupils about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in all aspects of present day life, helping them see the connection between what they study in school and the day to day applications in the real world. The roadshow entitled 'Are We Connected?'  included some great demonstrations including night vision googles, examples of how mobile phones communicate with each other and the importance of clear communication.  Thanks to the BAE Education Programme team for the great roadshow!
