On Thursday 7th February around 150 of our Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils sat the Intermediate Maths Challenge (UKMT). This is an hour-long national competition in which pupils are to answer around 26 difficult maths questions without a calculator and with only a pencil and plain piece of paper to hand. We are proud to say that 48 students have been awarded a certificate. With their high points score three pupils have been invited to sit the next round of the challenge. It is great to see another year of fantastic results. House points will be awarded shortly for all those involved. The Junior challenge for years 7 and 8 is to be sat next month. Be sure to look out for future updates!
