Our annual awards evening took place yesterday (Thursday 15th November) when we celebrated the success of the 2018 leavers. Ex-pupil Gemma Andrews commenced the celebrations with a superb piano rendition of Clair de Lune (Debussy).  Later on in the programme 2018 leaver William Forsey also gave a fantastic piano rendition of Cool by Stephen J Wood. Pupils were then presented with an array of awards and certificates sponsored very kindly by a host of local businesses.  

Three members of former Springfield colleagues also received special appreciation awards for the role they played at Springfield over the years. Our guest of honour this year was the President of the Association of Colleges, Steve Frampton MBE,  who gave a motivating speech to our 2018 leavers about their future after school. Some of the 2018 senior prefect team also gave an upbeat speech about their time at Springfield and how they have been equipped with life-long skills.
