Springfield School ran a Post-16 themed Careers Fair on Friday, 18 October. We were pleased to welcome almost all of the local colleges and Sixth Forms. The armed forces attended, as did a number of apprenticeship providers, such as Steve Willis Training, PETA and BAE Systems. Year 10 and Year 11 pupils were able to circulate the hall to find out more about the various routes open to them after they leave Springfield and to use the opportunity of speaking to providers they had not yet encountered. As well as asking serious questions, there were chance to watch PETA's 3D printer in action, try on the army's combat helmet and take advantage of the free stationery offered! Colleges are currently taking applications for a September 2025 start; pupils should check the government's website to find apprenticeships. We look forward to seeing what our 2025 Leavers choose as their next step!
