We are delighted to share the certificate received from the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) showing the number of volunteering hours undertaken by Springfield students between 1 April to 31 March 2024.  

This year DofE participants gave a huge 4,725,825 hours of volunteering in communities all over the UK as part of their programmes – a huge leap of 33% on 2022/23!

Volunteering changes lives for the better – that’s why it’s an integral part of the DofE programme. It’s more than just giving time; DofE hear thousands of stories from young people about how their DofE volunteering helped them develop a passion for a cause or learn new skills that set them up for their future. DofE are proud of all the young people dedicating their time and energy to volunteering.
