From 12 to 14 April 2024 Springfield held its first ever Duke of Edinburgh's Silver Practice Expedition.  A group of seven Year 11 students spent three days and two nights navigating terrain in the New Forest.  Students taking part benefit from this award as they forge new friendships by working together as a team.  Students will develop self-belief and confidence and will have the opportunity to use their initiative and time management and problem solving skills.   The weather was glorious and the group have lots to take away from the weekend in preparation for the assessed expedition later this year. A special thanks to Miss Hawkins for stepping in to help.
