Thank you to the families who came along to yesterday's OpenEvening. The event was extremely well attended and we were proud to showcase our wonderful pupils, facilities and the many opportunities offered at Springfield. Visitors got a real taste of Springfield, including an interactive 'crime investigation' in drama, musical performances, sports demonstrations and exciting science experiments. Caterlink were also on hand to give out samples of the food offered at Springfield's canteen. Visitors were able to view a huge variety of work on display in each of our subject departments. Our helpful Prefects gave guided tours of the school through each subject area. Thank you to all the pupils and staff involved - you did a fantastic job!
We were delighted to receive some great feedback from a prospective pupil's parent:
"I had the pleasure of attending the open evening today and was blown away with the facilities provided for pupils. The showcase of pupils' work from all departments was outstanding to say the least. I would like to take the time to sincerely thank [NAMES] for their amazing efforts in guiding us around every department. Their vast knowledge in every subject showed a true reflection of the high quality education that Springfield School has to offer."
If you were unable to make it to the Open Evening and wish to see the school, we are holding three Open Mornings at the beginning of October. Please see our 'Admissions' page for more information about how to book. The Headteacher's PowerPoint Presentation is also available on this page.
