Our new unit of study in Geography this half term has been 'Africa'. Students have been enjoying our lessons exploring the continent, and have been investigating the wide variety of languages, biomes and customs across the continent and the reasons for this. In a recent lesson students were challenged to look at a specific place in Africa in detail and explain why Africa is described as a diverse continent, using the evidence they discovered. Students took up this task with an excellent level of effort, superb team work and great organisation. Here they are bringing together all of their research by creating a presentation to share with the rest of the class. We made the presentation element into a competition, so huge congratulations to our winning team: Pranav, Maddison, Bradley and Jessica. I am extremely proud of 8W/Ge3's hardwork and resilience so far this half term. Keep up the great work!
